When you have your due date - as easy as that.

Newborn sessions are booked and a booking fee paid to secure your booking - this is NOT a specific date yet, just a rough estimate of when the session will be.

After you have given birth, while you are still in hospital, let me know that your bundle(s) of joy are born with these details: 

- Date/time baby was born

- Weight of baby

- Name (if known)

- Delivery/post partum results - I would love to know that everything went according to the birth plan. If there were or are any issues such as Jaundice (geelsig), NICU time, itended hospital stay or any other issues regarding the birth or the health of mom or baby that could affect the session. Knowing these items are so important to help me schedule the baby in a timely manner.

- Religious or Spiritual time exceptions 

The sessions are usually scheduled between 5 and 14 DAYS after birth to make sure we can get that beautiful sleepy images. BUT, this is not a set rule. A newborn is classified a "Newborn" up until 6 weeks after birth. But with experience, I have found that older babies (3-6 weeks) are not as willing to sleep as the younger ones. This only means that we might not be able to get images without clothes, but I can still capture special images to cherish for a lifetime.
